Alexis Ward
Alexis Ward is the music director of Suncatcher Players. She is an undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts majoring in classical guitar. Alexis grew up engaged in musical theater classes which gave her a strong sense of the value of theater in a child’s life. In addition to her school studies, Alexis is a private lessons teacher and writes and directs music for plays in the Winston-Salem community, including Our Time and The Suncatchers. She is passionate about composing and has released an album of original music with her band titled “Everyone’s Home,” and is currently working on her solo album. Alexis has worked with kids extensively in teaching and workshop positions, and dreams of producing an album specifically for kids.
