FALL 2022

In Fall 2022, we put on two original pieces — Gutter Ball written by the Glass Poets (Sam Askew, Zach Fisk, Hadrian Pollard, and Connor Ryan), as well as the Legacy of Deadfeather written by Hadrian Pollard, Alexis Ward and the Suncatcher Players — Eleanore Klaimon and Ellie Lanier.

Gutter Ball

Dom Gunnerson is the greatest crime-solving ace of the gritty Fallhaven Streets... or so he thinks. But when murder comes to his doorstep, will he and his sharp new intern be able to nab the baddie or will they get caught between bowling pins of deceit and a breakfast of death?

The Legacy of Deadfeather

Remy Deadfeather, the most legendary pirate of the Seven Seas, is dead. A power vacuum splits the pirates of the Black Vulture. Will his wife, the bloodthirsty Evara, or his former first mate Alonza Salvador take control of the crew? And what will be lost to uphold his honor?

SPRING 2022

In Spring 2022, we put on four original pieces made by our players in collaboration with their instructors - a musical, two plays, and a sketch comedy performance.

Villainville: the Villainous Vaudeville Musical:

Death Ray is a small town criminal who has always dreamed of being a big city supervillain. But when she moves to Villainville to train under the nefarious Evil Lucious, Ray learns that being evil is not all it's cut out to be.

Middle School and Other Miseries:

The New Kid. The Oddball. The Wallflower. The Dramatic. The Overachiever. Everyone knows the typical school archetypes. Sometimes, though, looks aren't what they seem. Inspired by real middle school experiences and the work of Lewis Carroll, MSAOM reminds us that "It's no use going back to yesterday. I was a different person then!"

Peregrine:

The world has changed. The fae, a once powerful race, has dwindled to near nothing following man's Great Crusade against them. Peregrine, having returned from the war victorious, now seeks a simple life. Though love, as it turns out, can be as manipulative, tragic, and dangerous as war.

Sketch Comedy:

Ready to laugh? Our players will throw you into the oddest, quirkiest, most ridiculous situations with their original sketches. Adolescent wizard pranks? Check. Insane conceptual governments? Got 'em. Unsuspecting campfire sacrifices? Of course. Be prepared to be thrown off-guard with these hilarious comedy gems.

FALL 2021

In Fall 2021, we performed two original, one act plays. Players designed sets, costumes, lighting, sound as well as directed the shows and composed the music.

Plant Boy

After a traumatic event, Tucker doesn't talk much. Which makes it all the more shocking when his beloved beech tree decides to speak to him. Tucker and his sapling friend, Oaky, along with the unlikely help of an environmental club-cum-eco-terrorist organization, seek out a community for his tree and, possibly, for himself.

Min and the Master

The Master rules all in the steampunk ninja village of the Hidden Peak. Min - a beautiful ninja of the metal phase - and Splinter -a competitive ninja of the wood phase - seek his power. Who is the Master? What are his plans? And can a band of ninja youths actually find him?
